Job Description

We are seeking a diligent professional to join our team as a Settlements Officer. In this role, you will work closely with the settlements team and external service providers to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of mortgage settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and document review with a high level of accuracy
  • Managing the settlements inbox and responding to inquiries
  • Updating statuses and creating tasks within internal systems
  • Conducting document verification and compliance checks
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism
  • Providing support to the Settlements Team and the wider team as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the financial services or non-bank lending industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience managing a pipeline of deals with multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
  • High level of competency in computer and web applications (Salesforce experience is a plus)
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A collaborative team player with a passion for delivering results
