About the Role:

The Head of Collections Support plays a critical role in ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within the department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate intelligence and analyses of collections and recoveries performance.
  • Oversight of all systems and software within the department, including databases and reportorial requirements.
  • Directing adherence to policies, mandatory instructions, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Managing support functions, including vendor management and administrative tasks.

This role also involves managing key functions such as:

  • Collections Systems
  • MI Reports
  • Policies and Strategies
  • Collections Training
  • Quality Control
  • Back Office Functions

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 8-13 years of experience working with collections statistical data, with 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with IT, programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, VB, Sybase), and call center technology.
  • Experience with automated collection systems and predictive dialers.
