Job Title: Learning Content Specialist

Join us in creating engaging and effective learning activities for our team. As a Learning Content Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting compelling course content in collaboration with subject matter experts.

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models. You will also need to possess lesson and curriculum planning skills, as well as the ability to write effective instructional text.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. If you have a background in educational technology or a related field, that's a plus

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations
  • Develop instructional graphics, user interfaces, and finished products
  • Provide learner interactivity through exercises, activities, and other interactive elements
  • Create supporting material/media such as audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.
  • Devise modes of assessment to measure the effectiveness of courses and attainment of knowledge
  • Identify poor quality and/or outdated learning content and offer recommendations for improvement or replacement
  • Maintain project documentation, version control, and course folders
Requirements:
  • BA or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field
  • Certification in Instructional Design (preferred)
  • Proficiency in multiple web design technologies (HTML) and multimedia formats (jpg, mp4, mp3)
  • Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
