SEO Content Specialist Role

This is a part-time role for an SEO Content Specialist to refine and enhance blog content, ensuring it meets the company's standards for quality, accuracy, and alignment.

Job Description:

We're looking for a detail-oriented language lover with an understanding of SEO and AP style to edit AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy. This will involve strategically adding relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience.

  • Edit articles for clarity and coherence, while ensuring accurate and engaging content that aligns with client objectives.
  • Add relevant references and optimize content for improved SEO rankings.
  • Verify accuracy and consistency in all written content, maintaining high standards for quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities also include selecting and inserting appropriate images, writing effective alt text, and conducting thorough proofreading to eliminate any grammatical errors or typos.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content, preferably blogs or articles, with strong proficiency in AP style guidelines.

  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles, including keyword integration, linking strategies, and on-page optimization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.
