Bookkeeper Role Overview\
The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented and adaptable individual who can maintain accurate financial records, streamline transaction processing, and support key automation initiatives using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial tools.
\This bookkeeping position involves maintaining accurate financial records, including recording and categorizing daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts regularly.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including recording and categorizing daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO)\
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payments, and reconciliations\
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies\
Additional Responsibilities:

- Provide retail accounting support, including managing retail-specific bookkeeping needs, such as inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) allocations, and POS system integration\
- Assist with the financial nuances of jewelry sales, returns, and vendor purchasing\
- Utilize Bill.com to process and manage vendor payments efficiently\
- Support payroll administration in coordination with internal systems and external providers\
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field\
- 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a retail or e-commerce setting\
- Experience working in or with the jewelry industry is a strong plus\
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experience using Bill.com is required\
