Triage Nurse Role

We are seeking a seasoned Triage Nurse to join our remote team. This position involves handling incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries about prescriptions, routing information to the right providers, and assisting with scheduling as needed.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs through incoming calls and respond accordingly.
  • Provide clear guidance to patients regarding their prescriptions and care instructions.
  • Route messages and clinical information to the appropriate healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
  • Support appointment scheduling and patient coordination efforts.
  • Audit all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  • E nsure adherence to clinical protocols, HIPAA regulations, and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Holding an active California USRN or LVN license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience, preferably in a triage or patient-facing capacity, is required.
  • EPIC EMR expertise is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently in a fully remote setting is necessary.
  • Availability to work during standard U.S. business hours is expected.
