Workforce Planning Manager Position

A Workforce Planning & Analytics Manager is needed to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support in workforce management, allocation, forecasting, scheduling, reporting analysis, and utilising business intelligence tools to drive operational performance and enhance decision-making capabilities.

  • The manager will analyse workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. They will use metrics to assess workforce effectiveness and productivity.
  • They will accurately predict work volume, handle time and staff shrinkage, and provide staffing recommendations to enhance workforce management and centre-wide performance.
  • The manager will collect, maintain, and analyse business data, including turnover rates, employee demographics, and performance metrics. They must ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • They will collaborate with the Analytics Team to create and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders that highlight key workforce metrics, insights, and recommendations for action.
  • The manager will proactively analyse inputs and oversee implementation of continuously improved forecasts and plans; measure performance, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations on how to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics.
  • They will create, maintain, and distribute reporting and plans to guide various teams within the organisation to success and add value to the broader organisation.
  • The manager will research and recommend performance and efficiency improvement processes and changes.
  • They will utilise Power BI experience and solid knowledge of workforce and business intelligence concepts and tools to deliver reporting solutions, data analytics, and decision support to business leaders.
  • They will partner and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data and reporting solutions that enable the business to meet or exceed customer and organisational expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in Excel and overall MS Suite products, including Power BI.
  • Familiarity with or understanding of Sales system, CRM, and phone system.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or related experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce management, reporting analysis, business intelligence, or related field.
  • Excellent critical thinking with the ability to serve as a change champion and encourage team members to find innovative ways of meeting business demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven track record of driving performance improvement initiatives.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
