Financial Specialist Role

Maintaining organized financial records is a critical function in any organization. The Financial Specialist role involves reviewing previous financial statements to aid in reporting and calculating bill totals.

Key responsibilities include recording and maintaining a business's financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining and balancing the general ledger.
  • Accurately maintain financial records through accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Manage activities related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents and reports.
  • Audit financial activities for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in automated financial and accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, reconciliation, and audit.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping, preferably in a BPO environment.
