HR Payroll Assistant

We are seeking an HR Payroll Assistant to support our payroll operations team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, time and attendance management, and employee compensation administration.
Responsibilities:Process payroll data from electronic time clocks and review it for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare payroll records by collecting and entering data into the payroll system.
Manage time sheets and attendance records, ensuring accurate calculations and payment.
Responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records, including updating employee information and managing exemptions.
Work closely with department supervisors and managers to resolve payroll-related issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
A High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in payroll processing, time and attendance management, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with ADP or Kronos UKG payroll systems is an asset.
