Job Overview: HR Assistant – Compensation and Benefits (C&B)
As an HR Assistant - Compensation and Benefits (C&B), you will play a crucial role in ensuring that employees receive accurate and timely compensation while maintaining compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role involves supporting the end-to-end payroll process, managing employee benefits programs, and handling accurate record-keeping of employee data. You will collaborate with the HR team to enhance employee satisfaction through well-structured compensation packages and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll, including timekeeping validation, salary computation, and ensuring timely disbursement.
- Administer statutory benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and government-mandated loans.
- Assist in managing company-sponsored benefits, including healthcare, insurance, and leave credits.
- Maintain and update employee records, 201 files, and compensation data for accuracy and compliance.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies, benefits claims, and leave policies.
- Support audits and reporting related to payroll and benefits.
- Collaborate with the HR team to review and improve compensation strategies to promote employee retention.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience or knowledge in payroll processing and benefits administration is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist employees.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
