Payroll and Billing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Billing Specialist to join our global Finance Team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations while also managing client billing processes across multiple countries.

The successful candidate will lead payroll processing across various jurisdictions, oversee client invoicing and revenue recognition, ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws, and provide accurate and timely resolutions to employee queries.

This role requires a strong understanding of PH and AU billing regulations, tax, and compliance requirements, as well as experience managing payroll and billing across multiple international jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 5+ years of payroll and/or billing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.

The Payroll and Billing Specialist will work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to align payroll and billing with accounting and business needs, prepare payroll and billing reports for leadership, audits, and compliance reviews, and reconcile payroll and billing with general ledger, taxes, and benefits contributions.

This is a mid-senior level position requiring strong reconciliation, reporting, and revenue recognition skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead payroll processing across various jurisdictions.
  • Oversee client invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • E nsure compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws.
  • Provide accurate and timely resolutions to employee queries.
  • Reconcile payroll and billing with general ledger, taxes, and benefits contributions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of payroll and/or billing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of PH and AU billing regulations, tax, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing payroll and billing across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with payroll and billing systems (ADP, Gusto, Xero, NetSuite, Deel, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
