System reliability and efficiency are paramount in modern industrial operations. A seasoned Automation Specialist will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our plant automation system.

Troubleshooting and Repair
  • A skilled Automation Specialist troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs programmable logic controllers (PLC), proprietary software, human machine interface (HMI), variable frequency drives, soft starters, interlocking devices and other related process instruments to ensure optimal system performance.
Program Migration and Troubleshooting
  • The Automation Specialist performs program migration (downloading/uploading) of computer-based control of process equipment, facilitating seamless integration and minimizing downtime.
  • With expertise in milling proprietary software, they work closely with the manufacturer to resolve online issues promptly.
Preventive Maintenance and Calibration
  • In their proactive approach, the Automation Specialist plans and implements annual preventive maintenance for the plant automation system, ensuring all components function within designed specifications.
  • They also perform in-house calibration of process instruments and other related automation devices to maintain precision and accuracy.
Inventory Management and Spare Parts
  • By monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with service providers and Original Equipment Manufacturers, the Automation Specialist ensures timely procurement of critical spare parts and updated software for the plant automation system.
Masterlist and Process Improvement
  • As part of their responsibilities, the Automation Specialist maintains an up-to-date masterlist of process automation devices, controllers, and instruments, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
  • Through data-driven analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams, they identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement initiatives that enhance overall system performance.
