Commercial Credit Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our credit analysis department, you will play a vital role in evaluating the creditworthiness of borrowers and assessing the risk associated with residential and commercial mortgage loan applications.

  • You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial statements, cash flow projections, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine the creditworthiness of borrowers.
  • Your expertise in using financial analysis tools and your understanding of commercial loans will be essential in assessing the risk associated with loan applications.
  • You will also be required to conduct thorough assessments of collateral, including residential and commercial real estate, equipment, or other assets, to determine their value and marketability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis or a similar role within the mortgage or finance industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in using financial analysis tools and knowledgeable in using lenders' servicing calculators to assess clients' borrowing capacities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for conveying credit analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
