We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team in Australia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing thorough credit analyses of mortgage applications to ensure accurate risk assessments
  • Evaluating financial data, credit reports, and other relevant information to provide recommendations on loan approvals
  • Collaborating with mortgage brokers and lenders to facilitate the approval process and ensure compliance with Australian lending laws and regulations
  • Preparing accurate reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and changes in lending criteria to ensure our processes remain current and effective
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a credit analyst in the Australian mortgage industry
  • A strong understanding of Australian lending policies and credit assessment processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools, with experience in MS Excel and other relevant systems
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
