Project Leadership Expert

We are seeking an experienced leader to support our Global Delivery Center team members and drive engagement success.

Job Role

The Project Leadership Expert plays a critical role in ensuring effective people management, project delivery, and revenue maximization. This individual will collaborate with GDC Leadership, Operations, and Resource Management to optimize project staffing, delivery team utilization, and client satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Resource Allocation: Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements, ensuring proper delivery team utilization and maximizing revenues.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders based on partnership, cooperation, and trust, facilitating open communication and issue resolution.
  • Project Oversight: Manage own projects when required, overseeing concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Escalation Management: Manage and resolve escalations between the project, client, or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Resource Planning: Coordinate resource planning and project activities between clients and internal/external resources needed to achieve strategic business goals, enhancing project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Mentorship: Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery and team performance.
  • Performance Management: Communicate clear expectations, accountabilities, and growth plans to teams by managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals, driving employee development and retention.
  • Bench Time Optimization: Ensure bench time for Consultants is used to improve skills aligned with Practice technology roadmaps, enhancing team capabilities and client delivery.
  • Program Scope Alignment: Monitor program scope alignment with strategic business objectives, ensuring projects remain focused on key outcomes and deliverables.
  • Feedback and Interviews: Solicit feedback from Delivery Owners of engagements where GDC team members are involved, conducting interviews of prospective GDC candidates to assess their fit and qualifications.
