Lead Financial Analyst Role

This is a high-profile position that will involve all aspects of financial planning and analysis, with an emphasis on delivering strategic insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, taking into account all relevant factors.
  • Develop detailed monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget/forecast, to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Design and implement operating models and dashboards using tools like Excel and Power BI, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of proposed initiatives.
Accounting Support (NetSuite)
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close in NetSuite, working closely with accounting staff to ensure seamless execution.
  • Review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Help optimize NetSuite structure and reporting hierarchies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with setup and mapping of new accounts or departments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Operational Finance
  • Support cash flow forecasting and treasury planning to ensure the company's liquidity needs are met.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as headcount, utilization, and financial metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial models to support pricing, hiring, or other strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in FP&A.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience using NetSuite for accounting and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, with ability to build complex financial models.
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based companies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with executive leadership.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written), including professional financial communication.
