Job Summary

This role is focused on delivering high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing bank reconciliations, clearing account discrepancies, and preparing direct debit reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Clear weekly account reconciliations for all entities and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly direct debit reconciliations and business activity statements (BAS).
  • Process journals and upload weekly, monthly, and fortnightly payroll journals.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
  • Support internal and external audit processes as required.
  • Participate in business and system improvement initiatives and automation projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting global markets including AU, US, EMEA, APAC.
  • Bookkeeping or partial CPA/CA qualification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS tools.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software is ideal.
