Financial Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for certain month-end close procedures and provide financial analysis and reporting support.

  • Review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries
  • Prepare monthly Cost Plus JEs, funding, and cash projections
  • Perform day-to-day accounting processes and procedures relating to fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals
  • Enter monthly journal entries in the general ledger
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and account analysis for designated balance sheet accounts and certain operating accounts
  • Review daily bank activities and prepare JEs for bank reconciliations
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors
  • Facilitate SOX controls and assist with PBCs for external and internal auditors
  • Prepare monthly BS & P/L Fluxes
  • Provide technical accounting support as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 years of General Ledger experience
  • Strong understanding of international accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and foreign exchange required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting operations and close procedures
  • Experience with NetSuite highly desirable
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized in work
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel a plus (v-lookups, pivot tables)
