Industrial Mechanic Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled industrial mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems.

  • Maintenance, repair, and fabrication of mechanical parts on deck and engine.
  • Proper use and maintenance of appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Awareness of safety meetings, reporting near misses, incidents, and accidents.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience as an industrial mechanic in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing safe and efficient operations, in accordance with instructions from supervisors.
  • Assisting with storing the vessel and maintaining good housekeeping in the Engine Room and Deck.
  • Carrying out equipment overhauls and maintenance, including breakdown maintenance, under supervision.
  • Checking stock of machinery spare parts and ensuring minimum requirements are kept.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 months of experience as an industrial mechanic in a similar industry.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
