Job Opportunity

As a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Drafter, you will play a key role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, and complete systems.
  • Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and related data to develop accurate technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Systematically maintain and update project files on the SolidWorks server.
  • Apply appropriate GD&T standards and ensure compliance with drafting standards.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to revision control procedures.
  • Support the development and documentation of Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Prepare standard drawings, installation instructions, and assembly guides.
  • Review and validate drawings for accuracy and completeness to reflect client specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and assembly instructions.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling.
  • High proficiency in 2D and 3D solid modeling using SolidWorks, including assemblies, part modeling, and drawing generation.
  • Excellent file management and project organization skills, with the ability to maintain clear and systematic documentation.
  • Prior experience with scaffolding, guard railing systems, or similar mechanical structures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and industry standards such as ASME Y14.5.
