Offshore Analytics Team Lead

Description:

The role of the Offshore Analytics Team Lead is to manage, mentor and grow our offshore analytical team. The successful candidate will have a strong balance of technical expertise, leadership capability and business acumen to ensure the delivery of high-quality insights and solutions that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of offshore analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Allocate resources effectively, manage workload distribution and oversee project timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the offshore team and onshore stakeholders.

Analytics Delivery:

  • Ensure timely delivery of accurate, actionable and well-structured analyses and reports.
  • Review and validate team outputs to maintain high standards of analytical rigor and data quality.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Recruit, Train & Collaborate:

  • Participate in recruiting new talent to the team.
  • Onboard new team members and provide continual learning across the team.
  • Work closely with onshore leaders to align priorities, clarify expectations and set performance goals.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, standardization of processes and best practices across the global analytics function.

Process Improvement & Innovation:

  • Drive efficiencies through automation, process optimization and adoption of new tools and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for the team to provide greater value.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in analytics, statistics, economics, business, computer science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in analytics, data science or business intelligence, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience using syndicated data in your day-to-day work with client brands.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. client market desired.
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in thinkcell desired.
  • Solid understanding of business problem-solving and client management.
  • Proven experience managing distributed or offshore teams with a track record of delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
