A Senior IT Auditor plays a vital role in evaluating and enhancing internal controls, IT systems, and risk management processes. This position contributes to the development of strategic audit plans and leads or supports IT-focused audits to ensure system integrity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to internal audit methodologies and annual audit plans by identifying key risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Plan, execute, and document IT audits in alignment with the audit plan, ensuring that all findings are accurately documented and reported.
  • Support assessment of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR), including IT process walkthroughs, control testing, and reporting, to ensure that financial information is accurate and reliable.
  • Prepare high-quality audit workpapers and formal reports detailing observations and recommendations, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Identify internal control weaknesses and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement remediation plans, ensuring that all identified issues are addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with control owners and external auditors throughout the audit lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and contributing to team success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, controls, and processes, with the ability to analyze complex technical information and identify key areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in auditing IT General Controls (ITGCs) and key reports supporting financial processes, ensuring that all audit work is thorough and accurate.
  • Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO and COBIT, applying industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
