Job Overview

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to clients while supporting and mentoring team members in a system administration capacity.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in server management, networking, and troubleshooting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, deploy, and manage every aspect of small to mid-sized business computer networks, software systems, and infrastructure.
  • Advanced and escalated troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows servers, workstation operating systems, and network issues.
  • Facilitate vendor support for third-party software to solve escalated issues.
  • Plan and deploy server, network, and workstation installations, upgrades, and network refreshes.
Qualifications
  • Experience in an MSP environment is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of full workstation support with troubleshooting Windows OS (Windows 8.1 to 11), including peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • Strong background in systems administration or a related field.
  • Network experience, including firewalls, SonicWall, WatchGuard, Meraki, smart switches, access points, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2008+ and server OS management, administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and supporting services (DNS, DHCP, File & Print Sharing).
  • Proficiency with Hyper-V and VMware hypervisors.
  • Knowledge of multiple network operating systems, protocols, security best practices, and implementation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
