Financial Planning Support Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented financial planning support specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

The role primarily involves supporting senior financial planners by providing research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service. Key responsibilities include preparing comprehensive SOAs and ROAs, conducting product comparisons and strategy modelling, and utilizing financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed SOAs and ROAs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize advanced financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • E nsure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial planning support role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with advanced financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
