Eviction Case Preparation Specialist

This is a highly detail-oriented and assertive professional position responsible for taking ownership of eviction case preparation and filings from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare comprehensive legal documents including: Notices, Summons & Complaints, Declarations and exhibits, Motions for default, writs of restitution, stipulations
  2. Manage complex timelines and workflows using in-house case management systems
  3. Coordinate process service with third-party providers ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  4. File cases electronically or by mail, as required, with courts across WA
  5. Prepare and track hearing schedules, filings, service affidavits
  6. Collaborate closely with supervising attorneys for guidance and sign-off on all matters
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal actions per property and tenant
  8. Track expenses and legal billings for all cases with meticulous attention to detail
  9. Continuously improve and refine templates and SOPs to ensure consistency, efficiency, and best practices throughout the organization

Qualifications:
  • Legal or paralegal education (JD or LLB degree preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing
  • Excellent written English skills (legal writing and email communication)
  • Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and assemble court-ready documents with precision and accuracy
  • Strong familiarity with US legal systems and landlord-tenant law principles
  • Proficient in using internal software tools and comfortable learning new technologies
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments
