Logistics Coordinator

This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting logistical operations to ensure the smooth movement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking shipments, making appointments, and handling various administrative tasks.

The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and maintain accurate records of shipping activities and logistics data. They will also communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and warehouse staff to resolve any issues that may arise during the logistics process.

  • Monitor and track the status of trucks and shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Schedule and manage appointments for pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and logistics data.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and warehouse staff.
  • Preparation of reports for the logistics department.
  • Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and internal teams regarding shipping status and logistics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
