Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Senior Level Software Project Manager who will manage and work closely with the development teams to ensure that all software projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

This individual will be responsible for managing the development process, from planning and design to implementation and deployment, while working closely with stakeholders to ensure project goals, timelines, and deliverables are met.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards, as well as experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools.

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Team Management: Manage and oversee the software development team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and support to complete their work on time and to a high standard.
  • Budget Management: Track expenses and ensure the project is delivered within budget constraints.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, team members, and external partners to keep them informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the software developed by the team meets the required quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' Jira administration experience.
  • Familiarity with Coda or equivalent platforms (Notion, Airtable, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards.
  • Experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools.
  • Basic scripting/API familiarity is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software project management.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a software development environment.
  • Experience overseeing software development using technologies like AngularJS, Node.js, AWS, and Flutter.
  • An extensive understanding of Management Information Systems, software development, IT infrastructure, and relational database systems.
  • Experience in managing a team remotely.
