Building Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Facilities Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection.

This role requires hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with other facility staff and contractors. The successful candidate will oversee and maintain the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of commercial or residential buildings.

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with building codes and standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and systems.
  • Supervise contractors, technicians, and service providers for repairs, renovations, and installations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, safety hazards, and tenant service requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of tools/materials.
  • Implement energy-saving measures and recommend improvements to increase building efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with property management on budgets, procurement, and project planning.
  • Support capital improvement projects and oversee building upgrades when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and have relevant experience.
  • Good interpersonal and business communication skills.
  • Honest and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to work in Davao City.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM).
