Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue & Margin Analysis: Identify trends in customer, project, and region profitability and opportunities to maximize margins
  • Price / Volume Modeling: Develop projections for profitability and support customer bids/RFPs using data-driven insights
  • Operational & Financial Modeling: Create KPIs and metrics to evaluate workforce performance and resource needs
  • Budgeting vs Actuals Analysis: Analyze the precision and accuracy of revenue and cost budgets used for percentage of completion revenue recognition
  • Financial Reporting: Present month-end, quarter-end, and year-end results to regional leaders and executive management
  • Data Mining: Extract financial and non-financial data to create standard and recurring presentations for executives and finance personnel
  • Revenue Forecasting: Develop forecasts for regional markets and perform ad-hoc analysis and risk assessment as needed
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Utilize Oracle and Hyperion to automate and streamline financial analysis and reporting

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics
  • Experience: 2-4+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in Telecommunications or Construction industries
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), Accounting (GAAP), and technical proficiency in Oracle and Hyperion
  • Ppersonal Skills: Strong initiative, dedication, and follow through; ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines; and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
