We are seeking a skilled logistics coordinator to join our team.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for handling customer shipments, managing relationships with carriers, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and manage shipment levels across multiple locations to ensure timely arrival and departure.
  • Prepare and manage necessary customs documentation for international shipments.
  • Oversee daily operations of shipments, ensuring they meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, including rate negotiations and compliance with service agreements.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in freight forwarding, shipping line, or brokerage firms, either locally or internationally.
  • Familiarity with shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, PKLs, invoices, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with experience in data entry and data validation tasks.
  • Comfortable with modern software, technology, and computer systems.
  • Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), especially Cargowise or Magaya.
  • Graduate of Customs Administration or similar degree program.
  • Licensed customs broker.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both in speaking and writing.
  • Client management experience is a plus.
