Job Title: Global Mobility Specialist

About the Role

The Global Mobility Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of international travel and logistics for personnel. This position ensures compliance with DoD regulations while managing arrangements for training events, site visits, and equipment deliveries across multiple project locations.

This individual will be responsible for arranging travel for U.S. and foreign staff, coordinating logistics for training events, and working with vendors to secure cost-effective transportation and lodging. Additionally, they will manage travel documentation, itineraries, approvals, and records, as well as handle visa applications, foreign clearances, and travel authorizations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel for U.S. and foreign staff, ensuring compliance with DoD Foreign Clearance Guide and local travel policies.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics for training events, site visits, and equipment deliveries.
  • Vendor Management: Work with travel agencies, airlines, and vendors to secure cost-effective transportation and lodging.
  • Documentation Management: Manage travel documentation, itineraries, approvals, and records.
  • Visa Applications: Handle visa applications, foreign clearances, and travel authorizations.
  • Mobilization and Demobilization: Support mobilization and demobilization logistics for project personnel.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare travel cost estimates and assist with tracking travel-related expenses.
  • Policies and Procedures: Maintain and distribute current travel policies and procedures.
  • Crisis Management: Respond to emergency travel changes, delays, or cancellations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Business, or Administration.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing international travel and logistics.
  • Skills: Familiarity with DoD travel rules and foreign clearance requirements, strong knowledge of international travel procedures and visa processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and travel coordination tools.
  • Personal Qualities: High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.
