The Role

The Bid Coordinator supports the estimating team by managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines.

Bid Preparation and Submission:
  • Coordinate and prepare bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure all RFPs are submitted internally in a timely manner and in compliance with the requirements set out in the request for proposal documents.
Document Management:
  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the submission guidelines.
Team Coordination:
  • Work closely with the project manager, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information and facilitate the preparation of comprehensive bids.
  • Independently manage the workload calendar of your assigned region.
  • Meet workload demand and goals while tracking customer contacts and bidding the same project for the estimator to send bids to.

Required Skills:

  • Construction Industry Experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical Drawings is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of multitasking and Outlook email organization.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office products knowledge (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • High levels of attention to detail to produce quality documents and ability to work under pressure and demanding deadlines.
  • A positive attitude towards customers and colleagues every day.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A self-starter who is also comfortable working in a team environment.
