Job Overview

We seek a skilled Client Service Officer / Paraplanner to join our growing offshore team supporting an Australian financial advisory practice. This role is designed for someone who can work independently, take initiative, and build trust within the team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end client service processes to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Prepare and review Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs), and other compliance-related documents.
  • Support financial advisers by handling paraplanning tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update client records in CRM systems.
  • Liaise with product providers and clients to follow up on applications, transactions, and outstanding requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian financial services regulations and company policies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to a positive team culture.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in client services, paraplanning, or a similar role in financial planning/wealth management.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning processes and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise confidently with advisers, providers, and clients.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, CRMs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A self-driven, proactive, and committed individual who prioritizes building trust and long-term relationships within the team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience supporting Australian financial planners.
