Expert Financial Planning Consultant Role

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced financial planning professional to join our team as a Senior Associate. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients across various industries, helping them transform their business planning needs.

  • The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and building complex financial planning models, with advanced Excel skills.
  • They will also possess experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems, such as Adaptive Planning or similar solutions.
  • A strong communicator, able to effectively collaborate with customers and colleagues, is essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to implementation projects, working closely with clients to understand their current planning processes and move legacy models into Adaptive Planning.
  2. Develop and configure accurate forecasting and planning models to meet clients' business needs.
  3. Provide expert guidance to clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions.
  4. Assist in guiding clients through training sessions for users.
  5. Document planning models and reporting delivered to clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Financial and/or management accounting experience, particularly budgeting, planning, and management reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including designing and building complex financial planning models.
  • Experience implementing EPM systems, such as Adaptive Planning or similar solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present to senior client audiences.
