Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. This role will involve providing technical support to partners via Zendesk, addressing daily operational inquiries and challenges.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving service, overseeing the health of the payment platform, identifying issues, analyzing recurring problems, and proposing long-term systemic solutions and automation opportunities to enhance robustness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in complex financial reconciliation investigations related to technical issues in the treasury domain.
  • Monitor and improve service: oversee the health of the payment platform, monitoring batches and processes; identify issues, analyze recurring problems, and propose long-term systemic solutions and automation opportunities to enhance robustness.
  • Technical investigation: provide timely technical support to partners via Zendesk, addressing daily operational inquiries and challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise
    • SQL data manipulation and file handling
    • Ability to read and understand code for troubleshooting
    • Familiarity with API concepts and usage for integration and troubleshooting
    • Experience with SFTP protocols
    • Knowledge of Jira for issue tracking and project management
    • Basic understanding of financial concepts, settlements, and reconciliation processes
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills
    • Ability to analyze and investigate complex technical issues and implement effective detection and resolution strategies
    • Capability to translate complex business problems into technical investigations
    • Experience setting up monitoring indicators to ensure system health and performance
    • Ability to define needs for control mechanisms, industrialization, and automation
  • Organizational & Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain systematic follow-up processes (e.g., reporting, spreadsheets)
    • Flexibility and a proactive approach in a rapidly changing FinTech environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with partners and internal teams
