IT Support Specialist

This role plays a crucial part in addressing all IT related issues while adhering to relevant service-level agreements and collaborating with technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • The IT Support Specialist resolves and documents Level 1 and occasionally Level 2 IT needs of users and productive operations associated with a ticket, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Suitable for installation and maintenance of operating systems, software, and applications within established standards and processes, guaranteeing seamless functionality.
  • The IT Support Specialist manages communication with internal and external customers from request inception to resolution, fostering partnerships with other departments.
  • Supports external providers or vendors during specific IT activities, ensuring they adhere to company protocols.
  • Effectively manages IT assets (computer and communications equipment, servers, and licenses), optimizing resource utilization.
  • Covers access to IT tools, guaranteeing compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Provides support for server infrastructure, virtualization, communications, and security, ensuring availability and uptime.
  • Leverages expertise to manage complex and critical issues and tasks, driving efficient resolutions.
  • Identifies and proposes process improvements, implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Delivers training to end-users and shares knowledge with other IT team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
