Key Role: Technical Solutions Architect

This role is accountable for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions architecture, including infrastructure and application.

The technical architect reviews technical requirements and understands business needs to develop solution designs that meet the bank's standards.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage expertise to lead a development team in delivering technical deliverables.
  • Conduct architectural review of test scripts for SIT testing.
  • Oversee technical testing execution and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Maintain programs to adhere to the bank's standards.
  • Evaluate and escalate any issues as necessary.
Solution Delivery Life Cycle Management
  • Analyze technical requirements of business users, including performance, integration, and technical administration issues.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to IT and business units as needed.
Project Governance and Resource Management
  • Monitor project status and provide updates on assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance with bank and industry standards.
  • Evaluate team performance, address concerns, and raise them to higher management when necessary.
  • Mentor individuals to improve areas of weakness.
  • Ensure adequate equipment and supplies for team members.
  • Enforce adherence to bank policies and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or computer science.
  • Minimum 7-12 years of experience in leading technical teams and solutions delivery.
  • At least 3-7 years of experience in a financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture and advanced analysis and design.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as COBOL, CICS, Java, VB, SQL.
  • Hybrid work setup available.
