Main Purpose of the Role

Drive the development of category growth strategies through omni-channel planning. Ensure stakeholder alignment and commercial planning for successful initiatives.

Key Deliverables
  • Define opportunities and main drivers for categories through the strategy development process.
  • Ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned to category vision and initiatives through commercial planning.
  • Establish links between Category Strategy, SBU Global Business Strategy, Category ZDP/ZEP, Market Business Strategy, and Brand, Channel, and Customer plans to ensure impact and efficiency.
  • IDentify contributors to successful opportunity areas, Ideation and prototyping sessions, and ensure they are integrated to ensure Innovation is executable and category growth and trade margin positive.
  • Support refinement of target financials and business case of any I&R through Category expertise. Ensure relevant insight on Category, Channel, Customer, and Competitor are integrated into PREPARATION for and applied to the DELIVERY of Channel and Customer Activation and communication plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG space with focus on category or commercial development.
  • Strong Commercial Competencies: Master Shopper Understanding, Develop Winning Strategies and Plans, Lead Category Development, Drive Profitable Revenue Growth, Successful cross-functional team leadership.
  • Proven track of leading and managing teams.
  • Able to influence with integrity, provide impactful insights, and engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
