Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Accounting Unit, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Develop and implement Accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits
  • Monitor and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax filings
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting Unit, conducting performance evaluations and providing training as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred, but not necessary
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP, IFRS)
  • Proficiency in Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis
  • Familiarity with internal control frameworks and risk management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
