Project Governance and Operations Lead

The Project Governance and Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives across various departments. This role oversees the portfolio of projects aligned with business priorities, ensuring effective governance, visibility, and value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, prioritization, and governance to achieve strategic goals.
  • Maintain the enterprise portfolio roadmap, ensuring alignment with business capacity and resource availability.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide insight into initiative health, benefits realization, and delivery risks.

Project Execution & Management:

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of complex projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop project plans, charters, status reports, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to standard project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Partner with department heads, enabling teams, technology, and support functions for initiative success.
  • Facilitate executive updates and steering committee reviews with clear progress narratives.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to manage expectations and foster collaboration.

Process Improvement & Value Delivery:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate redundancies, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Track and report on benefits realization, including financial and non-financial impact.
  • Support change management efforts for smooth adoption and sustainability of new solutions.

Essential Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization under pressure.
  • Proactive approach to operational challenges.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project and portfolio management, preferably in operations or contact centers.
  • Experience tracking operations compliance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge in delivering complex initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
  • PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.

To succeed in this role, you must be work-from-home enabled with a stable internet connection (at least 25mbps).
