Optimize Complex SQL Queries

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to optimize and refactor complex queries and views that drive reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Refactor and optimize deeply layered SQL views and subqueries.
  • Analyze and improve existing SQL code for readability and performance.
  • Diagnose issues using SQL Server execution plans and recommend indexing strategies.
  • Utilize Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and SQL window functions in query development.
  • Collaborate with data/reporting teams to convert dashboard SQL into reusable views.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of SQL optimization techniques, CTEs, and query development.
  • Experience refactoring nested SQL views or complex subqueries.
  • Ability to read and interpret execution plans and recommend improvements.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing or ETL pipelines.
