Finance Manager/Controller Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Financial Modeling:
    • Design and implement financial models to analyze investment opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
Accounting and Reporting:
  1. General Ledger Management:
    • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Financial Statement Preparation:
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements to inform stakeholders about the organization's financial health.
Compliance and Audit:
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations to minimize risk and avoid penalties.
  2. Audit and Review:
    • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure annual audits and financial reviews are conducted efficiently.
Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams to develop skills and improve departmental efficiency.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
