Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service experience through prompt response to customer inquiries and concerns
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  3. Conduct thorough investigations and gather necessary information to make informed decisions on claims
  4. Maintain accurate records and update customer information as needed
  5. Develop and maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and industry regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in any field; or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of customer-facing work experience, preferably in a call center setting
  • Short Term Disability Claim Processing experience, including reviewing and gathering information, making phone calls, and making decisions on claims, preferred
  • Legal and policy experience, including reading, interpreting policies, and applying industry regulations to claims situations, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; computer skills and typing speed are essential
