Trade Finance Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that daily business activities run smoothly and efficiently, while adhering to the bank's controls, policies, and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify daily trade finance transactions, including import and export transactions, export LC advising, export LC negotiation, standby LC, and bank guarantees.
  • Handle general inquiries from internal and external parties regarding trade finance transactions.
  • Prepare billing statements and calculate charges for processed transactions.
  • Assist in reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) annually to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and prepare reports as required by relevant departments.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or accounting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in trade finance or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
