Drive BIM Success

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), with a strong background in implementing BIM protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development of BIM within the business, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to staff, guiding them on best practices and workflows.
  • Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows, ensuring consistency across all projects.
  • Monitor project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring that deadlines are met and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance of models, adhering to project specifications and standards.
  • Train and support team members in BIM processes and tools, promoting continuous improvement and growth.
  • Work closely with Design engineers and Project BIM leads to produce high-quality models, meeting project requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure staff have access to necessary tools and ACC web servers, facilitating seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Lead meetings to identify project tasks and resolve major issues, ensuring effective decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Support career development, coaching, and mentoring of team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Develop scripts in Dynamo for design and productivity requirements, enhancing workflow efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work autonomously, referring upwards as necessary, while maintaining open communication and collaboration with the team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years technical experience specializing in Building Information Modelling (BIM).
  • Extensive experience in BIM from LOD 200 up to LOD 500.
  • Knowledge of RIBA stages (plan of work).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional experience in ACC/BIM360.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional managerial skills.
