Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for onboarding new clients, ensuring accountants deliver services on time, and reviewing monthly financial reports.

  • Onboard new clients using the provided template and assign them to the right accountant.
  • E nsure accountants deliver services on time and meet client expectations.
  • Help onboard new team members and provide necessary training and support.
  • Review monthly financial reports for errors before sending them to clients.
  • Monitor client communication channels to ensure clear and timely responses.
  • Check that accountants meet performance goals and help balance workloads.
  • Work with other managers to resolve issues and escalate them to senior leadership if necessary.
  • Provide feedback to senior leaders on systems and suggest improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client revenue and share ideas with senior leadership.

Requirements
  • 3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Supervisory experience, including leading a team and overseeing accounting operations.
  • Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Dear, or XERO.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and integrations with accounting systems.
  • Experience with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and deferred revenue.
  • Experience with SaaS-based and marketing businesses.
