About This Role

In this position, you'll manage database clusters, load balancers, and systems that power our high-growth platform. Every decision you make matters, and your expertise will drive speed, reliability, and scalability for thousands of companies worldwide.

This is a 100% remote role with no travel to customer locations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Monitor and optimize MariaDB clusters and MaxScale load balancers for high availability.
  • Administer Ubuntu Linux servers on Azure VMs, including patching, tuning, and automation.
  • Manage and optimize Azure resources including Traffic Manager, load balancers, and networking.
You Bring
  • At least 3 years of experience as a MySQL or Maria DBA (cloud or hybrid).
  • Strong skills in MariaDB clustering and replication preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure administration experience.
  • Performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery know-how.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, scripting).
  • Experience with security compliance in regulated environments (e.g., SOX, HIPAA).
  • Knowledge of large-scale, high-availability systems.
