Accounts Officer Role

This role supports the organization's finance operations by handling daily tasks while an ERP platform transition is underway.

The Accounts Officer will provide essential support to keep invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processes up to date.

This 3-month contract position offers potential exposure to ERP transition and reconciliation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with confidence in phone-based customer and supplier interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
  • Collaborates with a third-party outsourcing partner managing finance functions.
  • Works remotely with daily communication across the finance and sales teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills for internal teams and external customers.
  • Exposure to Xero or other accounting platforms.
  • Experience working within a business undergoing system change or ERP migration.
  • Reports directly to the IT and Finance Systems Manager.
  • Works remotely with regular communication across the finance and sales teams.
