Senior Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance for our clients.

About the Role
  • This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a senior role and lead the preparation and submission of individual income tax returns, business activity statements, installment activity statements, fringe benefits tax returns, and other tax-related documents.
  • You will also be responsible for managing client accounting files, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, as well as uploading invoice payments and processing quarterly superannuation payments.
  • In addition, you will provide training to junior accountants and perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in Australian accounting or taxation
  • Knowledge of Australian Taxation and Compliance is preferred
  • General Accounting experience with solid background is preferred
  • Must have experience in Individual, Partnership, Trust, and Company Compliance
  • SMSF compliance knowledge is preferred but not essential
