Financial Services Specialist Role

Prepare and submit financial statements, income tax returns, and other business lodgments for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individual businesses. Utilize your expertise to handle financial matters, including tax returns, activity statements, and compliance with Australian tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning advice, guiding clients through FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax), payroll tax, Div7a, CGT (Capital Gains Tax), STP (Single Touch Payroll).
  • Partner with clients on strategic business projects, developing budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports.
  • Diligently prepare and maintain accurate work papers, ensuring reconciliation to the financial statement stage.
  • Maintain detailed client records and work papers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Australian taxation, with a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven proficiency in preparing financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, and various lodgements for diverse client structures.
  • High attention to detail and precision, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
